Privacy policy
Easy Duct Calculator has no account and no sign-in. Every calculation runs on your own device, and the numbers you type are never sent anywhere.
What leaves your device
Only the two network requests below. Neither contains anything you typed or any result.
-
App settings check All versions
Each time it starts, the app downloads a small settings file from
easy-duct-calculator.web.app, which is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Like any web server, Firebase receives your IP address, your device and browser type, and the time of the request, in order to deliver the file. If you are offline, the request is skipped and the app works normally. -
Website visit count Website only
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: the page, the referring site, browser, device type and country. It sets no cookies and assigns you no identifier. The installed apps for iOS, Android and Windows do not run it.
What stays on your device
The app stores only the following, locally, and never sends them:
- Your History: the last 20 calculations, with the values you entered, the duct size and its results, so you can go back to them and change them Clear history at the bottom of the History card deletes them all
- Your Settings and units: wall roughness, friction method, rectangular duct diameter, air temperature, altitude, flow safety factor, size step, Apply to round duct, Display size, IP or SI, how scenario B follows scenario A in Cross-Check, whether Results or History was open last, and whether the Add to flow amounts are shown in History Restore defaults in Settings puts the Settings back (units and the Cross-Check link stay as they are)
- A copy of the settings file above, so the app behaves the same offline
-
On Windows, the size and position of the app window
Kept in
%APPDATA%\com.imanalizadeh.easyduct, which stays after uninstalling; you can delete that folder - On the website, the site's own files, cached so it opens without a connection
Advertising and tracking
The app shows no ads, contains no advertising or tracking SDK, and does not follow you across other apps or websites. If advertising is ever added, this policy will be updated before it goes live.
Who processes data
Nothing is sold. Google (Firebase Hosting) and Cloudflare (Web Analytics) handle the requests described above as service providers, under their own policies: Firebase, Google and Cloudflare.
If you email us
Your email address and message are used only to reply to you and are not shared.
Your choices
A content blocker that blocks Cloudflare Web Analytics stops the website visit count. Using the app without a connection stops the settings check. Either way, every feature keeps working.
